Delta Golf Company History

Delta Golf has a long history in the manufacturing of golf clubs. In fact, Delta Golf is one of the 10 oldest manufacturers in the country. Through Delta Golf, its subsidiaries, and its OEM divisions, Delta Golf has produced over 27 million golf clubs over the past 41 years. That's alot of golf clubs!

Delta Golf was founded by Rocco Morisco Sr., who literraly worked day and night in the golf industry. He would work for the Lamkin Grip Company durring the day, and at night, he worked for Sportsman's Golf (later know as RAM Golf). In his spare time, he would make homemade putters.

This all eventually led to the formation of his own company. Imperial Golf, in 1966. The other principal owner of Delta Golf at the time, the late Paul Neumann, was a tool and dye manufactuer, who had an interest in golf head design. He started Golfco Inc in 1967. Delta Golf was formed as a partnership by these two men some 18 months later, in late 1968.

Many people have played Delta Golf produced clubs without even knowing it. Some of the companies that have come to Delta Golf to help with their production of golf clubs include: Ram, PGA, Striker, Wittek Golf, Dynacraft, Austads, Purespin, Faultless, Heavy Hitter, PGA First Tee Program, Lynxx, Burke Golf, Holiday Golf, Excalibur, and Rawlings Golf.

This tradition of the family owned and operated golf club compay continued to this day. Joseph Morisco Sr., Rocco's eldest son, is the current President/CEO of Delta Golf.

  • All orders are shipped via UPS (ground service) unless otherwise specified.
  • Scheduled delivery times from Chicago, Illinois are shown here (excluding weekends and holidays).

International Orders

All orders from subjest area must be prepaid in U.S. funds or by credit card. Bank wire transfers are acceptable. Method of shipment must be specified or the order will be shipped by our choice of carrier.

Ordering

Orders may be places by phone, fax, or e-mail. When faxing or e-mailing your order please include your name, curent address, and telephone number.

Terms

For open stock items payment may be made in 1 of 4 ways:
  1. prepaid by check or money order
  2. Credit Card: VISA, Master Card. AMEX, Discover
  3. C.O.D. (C.O.D. charge is $8.00 and subject to change)
  4. Open Accounts: For open account, standard terms are NET 30 days from the date of invoice.
Invoices not paid within 45 days are subject to a 1.5% per month service charge. Delinquent account are automatically placed on credit hold and subject to C.O.D. shipment. We have the right to revoke an open account status at any time. In consideration of the hight cost of ahndeling small orders we find it necessary to charge an additional $7.50 for orders totaling less than $50.00. First time orders must be prepaid.

Pricing

Prices are subject to change without notice. All orders accepted on the basis of prices and terms prevailing at the time of shipment. All orders are subject to acceptance and we reserve the right to change models or specifications or limit order quantity on any product without prior notice.

Returns

Return authorizatio numbers will be issued through our customer service department. Returns without an RA# will be refused. All return shipments must be shipped freight prepaid. Goods returned for any reason other than defects or misshipments are subject to a 25% restocking fee. Returns will not be accepted for any sale or closeout item.

Warranty

All of our golf products carry a warranty of one (1) year against breakage or defects in material and/or workmanship. We reserve the right to repair, replace, or adjust any defective equipment upon inspection at our facility. Wear of product due to abuse, loss, theft, unintended usage, normal wear or any alteration is not covered.
